how does your garden grow?

Jon and I have had a garden since we've moved in our house five and a half years ago.  Over the years we've grown tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, spaghetti squash, zucchini,  and watermelon.  This year we decided to give eggplant a whirl.  We also wanted to get the kids involved in the garden and teach them how plants grow and where we get food from.  Cole is still too little to really get it, but nicolette was right there, with her Dora gloves, digging away.  She has her very own watering can (cole too) to help me!

All of our veggies... so many different varities!

a beautiful bride!

My dear friend, Meghan, got married this weekend. I was so happy for her and Damon. Doesn't she make a beautiful bride?

Jon and I stayed over at the Inn on the Lake. It was nice to get away for a night and spend some time with good friends. The wedding was at held at Bristol Harbour in Canandaigua, NY.

It was right in wine country and beautiful!

There were so many of us from school, this picture doesn't do justice!

all the hard work paid off...

Nicolette has been working hard every Saturday since January for this day. She started dancing at Studio B. Some days the four girls would be silly, but most days they were just cute to watch. Thank goodness there were only four of them, or else Miss Brandi would have had her hands full! She was kind enough to let us come in there with the girls, so we got to watch and listen to class!

Nicolette absolutely loved dance. There were the occassional melt downs and refusals to dance, but overall is was so much fun for us moms, and the girls.

Their big day was June 12th, 2010. Rehearsal was the night before and it was so cute to watch. Their Cuppycake song was all of 30 seconds, but it was darling to see them up there.

grandma's birthday and this and that

It was my mom's birthday and we needed to celebrate!

A sibiling picture... do you think we look alike?

We didn't know who was taller, so we had to measure! Wouldn't it be nice if we all were just a bit taller?! Mike wins!

My little guy playing in the kitchen

And my little girls new shoes! She is in love and so is her momma. I wish I coud find my size!

Just lounging before going over to the birthday party!

Finally playing with some trucks! Haha! He loves to do what nicolette does... which is typically playing with her babies and purses!

We're going backwards here, but I'm too lazy, and behind, to care. We were making hand prints on bags and cards for the upcoming holidays! Nicolette loved it. Cole loved it more, until he decided he was DONE!

Having fun with mommy! I love pictures of me and Miss Nicolette!

Some randoms for days past.
