new to this all

I joined a group of wonderful ladies awhile back after I had my second miscarriage. We've all had miscarriages and it's such a great, safe place to talk to other moms. A bunch of them "blog" so I thought I'd try to blog too. It's a good way to keep track of all the stuff my beautiful little girl is doing. She turns 9 month today and I cannot believe it. She was growing in my belly for this long (well, almost). Time seems to fly by (as cliche as that sounds). I just wonder why teaching doesn't go as fast.

Just in the past couple of weeks Nicolette has done SO much more. You can teach her things and she learns! She will clap if she's done something cute, clap when we sing If You're Happy and You Know It and Pat-A-Cake. And, she signs more and knows what it means! Nicolette loves to walk (holding on to our hands) and takes risks I wouldn't even take. She is such a daring baby! I cannot get over how much fun she is. Every new month that comes is my new favorite.

With a new baby coming in December, Jon and I will have our hands full. We are ecstatic to be adding to our family, but I am slightly terrified as well. It seems like I was just pregnant, but I always said I wanted my kids close together. I'm just happy we didn't have to "try" because it was extrememly stressful with Nicolette. I feel so blessed to be given Nicolette and doubly blessed to be adding another little one.
